Wie kann es gelingen, Redaktionen von Zeitschriften zur Erwachsenenbildung europaweit zu vernetzen?

Projektziel

InfoNetAE vernetzt die Redaktionen von Zeitschriften zur Erwachsenenbildung europaweit und ermöglicht einen umfassenden Austausch von Nachrichten, Berichten, wissenschaftlichen Beiträgen und Buchbesprechungen rund um die Erwachsenenbildung. Mit Hilfe eines eigenen Übersetzungssystems soll erreicht werden, dass die entsprechenden Inhalte in jeder Landessprache abgerufen werden können.

Im ersten Jahr wird der Informationsdienst aufgebaut und in den beiden Folgejahren erprobt.

InfoNet AE ist ein Projekt der Katholischen Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Erwachsenenbildung (KBE) und wird von Dr. Michael Sommer koordiniert.

The european project "InfoNet Adult Education" started in October 2005 and is a large-scale network of editors of journals and publications on adult education supported by the EU in the framework of Grundtvig 4. National and international umbrella organisations as the EAEA or UNESCO are also taking part. By this, a European platform is set up aiming at establishing and improving the information stream between different actors of AE/LLL. Information on all relevant aspects of AE/LLL in Europe shall be exchanged within and by InfoNet (news, scientific articles, book reviews). In particular, InfoNet wants to be a partner for disseminating results of other European projects. In the 1st year, five working groups develop criteria for handling the information flow and technical aspects. From the 2nd year on, a regular information service - helped by an information bureau in Brussels - is implemented which works similarly to a news agency. InfoNet has currently 28 members, including the journal LlinE. Co-ordinator is Dr. Michael Sommer, editor of the german journal "Erwachsenenbildung" (adult education) and member of the Akademie Klausenhof, a big residual folk high school in Germany. Applicant was the german umbrella organisation for katholic adult education (Katholische Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Erwachsenenbildung KBE).
