Question(s)

The evaluation project considers the question of the efficacy and effects of the innovative projects funded as well as the question of support for the upcoming periods of funding and funding guidelines.

An evaluation will be conducted that among others seeks to offer relevant insights along with answers to the following questions:

• Are other target groups reached compared to the regular programme in the two fields? What kinds of offering and strategies of approaching the target groups show to be suitable?

• What outcomes did/do the projects have?

• Do the special funding schemes achieve the intended aims? How sustainable are the projects?

• How can the innovative power of educational organisations working in the fields of basic education and second-chance education be fostered? How can the funding guidelines be developed further?

Objective(s)

The findings from the evaluation project will provide the scientific basis for further development of the special funding schemes by the contracting authority.

Methodological approach:

• Combination of the perspectives of institutions and participants based on content analyses of the offers/project proposals of institutions and funding documents from the state government; qualitative interviews with course planners, teachers and participants.

Durch die Erkenntnisse aus dem Evaluationsprojekt wird eine wissenschaftliche Basis für die Weiterentwicklung der Sonderförderprogramme durch den Auftraggeber geschaffen.

Methodisches Vorgehen:

• Die Analyse erfolgt in Verschränkung der Perspektiven von Institutionen und Teilnehmenden anhand quantitativer Inhaltsanalysen von Angeboten/Projektanträgen der Einrichtungen und Förderdokumenten der Landesregierung, qualitativer Interviews mit Planenden, Lehrenden und Teilnehmenden.
