The Exhibition took place at the International Conference “Cultures of Program Planning in Adult Education: Policies, Autonomy, and Innovation”, September 28-29, 2015 and at the Annual Conference of the Adult Education Department of the The German Educational Research Association (GERA | DGfE), September 29 - October 1, 2015, Leibniz University Hanover, Germany.
In Austria and Germany, three archives and collections of adult educational program/course catalogues provide an extensive data source for program research. The exhibition presents these archives in addition to a wide range of information on various European program/course catalogue collections/archives. The data presented was collected as part of a research study conducted by the expert group on program (planning) research in Germany. Furthermore, an overview on analyzing program visuals as an approach for program research is provided.
