Conference

Professionalisation of Adult Educators

International and Comparative Perspectives

1 - 3 November 2013, Bonn, Germany

Professionalisation has come into the focus of (adult) educational policy in many regions. Approaches and strategies are diverse and vary due to the corresponding key actors and cooperations, national cultures and historical particularities and there are many controversial elements to the approaches.

The conference focus on the historical development and current trends in various regions from an international (and comparative) perspective. Particularly welcome are research papers that focus on one of the following three fields.

  • Actors, stakeholder and their cooperation culture and their impact on professionalisation methods
  • Didactic-methodological approaches and curricula, and their contribution to professional development
  • Globalisation processes, strategies of internationalisation and transnationalisation and new tasks and fields of activity

See Call for Paper for full details.
