Are you a teacher in adult and continuing education? Then you work in the largest education sector in Germany, contributing to enabling lifelong learning.

But did you know that little is known about your situation as an employee in the training sector? In light of the corona pandemic, the structures in adult and continuing education have also changed considerably. New course formats and human resource management becomes more significant.

With TAEPS, we want to gain a better understanding of your situation in adult and continuing education to use the research to effectively improve existing structures. No matter if you call yourself a coach, lecturer, course leader, trainer, teacher or speaker. Whether you teach yoga or a programming language, work 2 or 20 hours a week, are employed or self-employed we would encourage you to participate in the survey and contribute to improving continuing education in Germany.

PROCEDURE OF THE STUDY

After you have completed your online registration, the research institute infas will first conduct a telephone interview and ask a few short questions about your activities in the continuing education sector. Subsequently an invitation to an online survey is sent to all respondents who participated in the telephone interview (approx. 30 minutes). We would like to thank you for participating in the telephone interview with an expense allowance of 10 euros. After participating in the online survey, you will receive an additional expense allowance of 20 euros.

In addition, 10.000 randomly selected institutions, companies and self-employed persons have been contacted by post and invited to a telephone interview.
