Questions:

How can innovative teaching and learning approaches to include Creativity and Innovation Management (CIM) be implemented in higher education and in practice?

Overall objectives:

The project aims at developing a holistic, ICT-supported and competence-oriented learning and validation system which is focusing on modular courses, including mobility learning and traineeships, in different informal learning contexts at the interface of academia and business.

With a focus on creativity and innovation it will contribute to the promotion and the valuing of those competences and learning outcomes that are of fundamental importance in the economy and that are acquired to a large extent in non-formalised learning contexts.

The project will contribute to an improved transparency of the acquired competences, to a higher variability of learning pathways and eventually to a better matching of learning contents and individual learning styles.

Operative objectives:

1. research on existing approaches to acquire and validate creativity and innovation competences both in higher education and in industry and enterprises
2. developing an overarching competence-oriented learning approach, assessment and validation system based on the ICT-aided validation system “LEVEL5”
3. developing reference systems for creativity and innovation competences and their sub-competences, assessment tools and a corresponding quality approach
4. customising the LEVEL5 validation software for key competences in European mobility and traineeship
5. piloting and evaluation of the CIM learning approach. Internships/traineeships will be organised as learning projects in different disciplines and branches.

Gesamtziel:

Ziel des Projekts ist die Entwicklung eines ganzheitlichen, IKT-gestützten und kompetenzorientierten Lern- und Validierungssystems. Die Kursmodule fokussieren dabei unterschiedliche informelle Lernkontexte an der Schnittstelle von Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft, z.B. Lernen im Rahmen von Mobilitäten und Praktika.

Mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Kreativität und Innovation wird das Projekt zur Förderung und Bewertung jener Kompetenzen und Lernergebnisse beitragen, die für die Wirtschaft von grundlegender Bedeutung sind und die weitgehend in nicht formalisierten Lernkontexten erworben werden.

Das Projekt wird zu einer verbesserten Transparenz der erworbenen Kompetenzen, zu einer höheren Flexibilisierung und Vielfalt von Lernwegen und schließlich zu einer besseren Abstimmung von Lerninhalten und individuellen Lernstilen beitragen.

Operative Ziele:

1. Erforschung bestehender Ansätze zum Erwerb und zur Validierung von Kreativität und Innovationskompetenzen sowohl in der Hochschulbildung als auch in Industrie und Unternehmen.
2. Entwicklung eines übergreifenden kompetenzorientierten Lernansatzes, Bewertungs- und Validierungssystems basierend auf dem IKT-gestützten Validierungssystem "LEVEL5"
3. Entwicklung von Referenzsystemen für Kreativitäts- und Innovationskompetenzen und deren Teilkompetenzen sowie Entwicklung passender Bewertungsinstrumente und eines entsprechenden Qualitätsansatzes
4. Anpassung der LEVEL5-Validierungssoftware für Schlüsselkompetenzen in europäischen Mobilitäts- und Praktikumsprogrammen
5. Pilotierung und Evaluation des CIM-Lernansatzes im Rahmen von Praktika und Lernprojekten in unterschiedlichen Disziplinen und Branchen
