This contribution suggests a reconstruction of didactic behavior in the context of adult education. Ausgehend vom verbreiteten Phänomen der Prüfungsangst werden anhand ausgewählter Beispiele aktuelle Möglichkeiten vorgestellt, Prüfungen online durchzuführen. Vorgeschlagen wird eine Ergänzung von Online-Prüfsystemen um teststatistische Module durch die sowohl die Qualität von Prüfungsfragen optimiert als auch eine differenziertere Interpretation von Prüfungsergebnissen auf dem Hintergrund von Vergleichsgruppen ermöglicht wird.
