Committees

The DIE's governing bodies ensure transparent, accountable and forward-looking management of the institute. They strike a balance between academic expertise and strategic governance.

Committees and Bodies

The DIE is a registered association. In accordance with its articles of association, the DIE has three committees: General Assembly, Board of Directors and Administrative Board.

The General Assembly elects representatives from academia and the professional world to sit on the Administrative Board. The Board is responsible for monitoring the legality, appropriateness and cost-effectiveness of the Institute’s work.

The Board of Directors is responsible for managing the Institute, conducting the association’s business, and representing the Institute within the Leibniz Association.
