In the course of our national and international externally funded projects, we are engaged in the investigation of contemporary challenges in the domain of adult and continuing education. In collaboration with academic and industry partners, we generate robust knowledge to underpin lifelong learning.
A fundamental element of research at the DIE is constituted by externally funded projects. These supplementary resources are of particular significance in the context of institutionally funded research, as they facilitate the exploration of novel academic domains and enable a responsive adaptation to the evolving landscape of policy, educational practice, and societal developments. This approach enables us to address current issues and develop scientifically sound solutions.
The development of innovative concepts, new insights and practical tools is achieved through close collaboration with partners from academia, educational practice and other sectors of society. These projects have been shown to enhance knowledge transfer, foster national and international collaboration, and contribute to the shaping of lifelong learning for the future.
