Based on data collected in the OECD project »Social Outcomes of Learning (SOL)«, empirical research findings and resulting policy recommendations were generated in the report »Improving Health and Social Cohesion through Education«, which are presented in this shortened and translated version. Due to the overall sparse empirical evidence of benefit research, future research forms and necessary methodological approaches are outlined.
Im Mai 2025 wurde Karin Prien (CDU ) zur Bundesministerin für das neu gegründete Ministerium für Bildung, Forschung, Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend ernannt. The report focuses on empirical data of cultural life from a cultural political perspective. The DIE Journal on Adult Education (DIE Zeitschrift für Erwachsenenbildung) was renamed "weiter bilden" in 2018. The quarterly DIE Journal focuses on a specific topic to inform about current developments in adult education. It is mostly directed at full-time employees and planners in continuing education as well as authorities in education policy and administration. It is scientifically sound as well as practice oriented - magazine as well as reflection instrument.
