Case studies The contribution describes principles and possible yields for the implementation of case studies in the area of adult education. The research practical implementation itself is deliniated with an example from a research project from the area of learning research. Hedonism and body cult have to be considered as social phenomena. They are an expression of the individualisaton of health behaviour and of the search for wellness. Wellness is connected with sensuality and enjoyment in many people’s minds. Health consciousness is influenced by individual experience. Health learning can incorporate wellness and the experiential dimension in a productive way.
