Wie begründen Bildungseinrichtungen, dass sie Angebote zur digitalen Grundbildung unterbreiten? Dieser Frage sind die Autorin und der Autor in Interviews mit lehrendem und leitendem Personal der allgemeinen und konfessionellen Erwachsenenbildung nachgegangen. Der Autor stellt acht zentrale Kriterien der Gestaltung kompetenzentwickelnder Lehre vor, die einerseits auf Basis einer Literaturrecherche und Beforschung, andererseits auf Erfahrungen im Bereich der Beratung und Gestaltung entsprechender Lernangebote in Bildungsinstitutionen fußen. Diese Kriterien dekliniert er anschaulich vor dem Hintergrund eines kleinen Lernangebotes durch, welches in der Erwachsenenbildung durchaus denkbar ist: einem Fotokurs für Anfänger.
Welche Kompetenzen benötigen Bürgerinnen und Bürger, wenn es um den Umgang mit digitalen Medien geht? Der Autor zeichnet Unterscheidungen von Medienkompetenz und Medienbildung nach und kommt zu dem Schluss, dass neben Kompetenzen in der Anwendung kritisch-reflexive Elemente im Umgang mit digitalen Medien vermittelt werden sollten.
This article presents the results of a recent online survey of graduates of the Austrian Academy of Continuing Education. Methodically, the survey’s results on benefit items are interpreted and answers to open questions are analyzed by qualitative content analyses. The learning movement of a social movement beginning in 1957. 18 German nuclear physicists signed a declaration in 1957 in which they refused to take part in the production, testing and use of nuclear weapons.
