The brief article aims at increasing the terminological acuity of the topic focus and distinguishes between the use of the term „third-party funds“ to „first-party“ and „second-party funds“ in the context of research and further education.
The article focuses on the significance of social media for informal learning. Based on the potential of online communities, online networks, blogs, wikis etc. for informal learning, the utilization for learning is critically discussed and examined differentially. Possible consequences for adult education, which result from new informal learning opportunities on the internet, are also taken into account.
The report introduces the topic of municipal education monitoring based on the »Aachen Declaration« on municipal educational responsibility by the German Association of Cities and Towns. Transnationalisation processes of enterprises lead to extended needs of qualification and knowledge. There are no corresponding concepts and learning culture designs. Fritz Laack (1900-1990) war ein führender Repräsentant der deutschen Erwachsenenbildung des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er bekleidete dabei verschiedene Ämter. Zum Beispiel war er Geschäftsführer der neu gegründeten „Deutschen Schule für Volksforschung und Erwachsenenbildung“, und Mitherausgeber der Zeitschrift „Freie Volksbildung“ Er verfasste Grundlagenwerke zur Geschichte der Erwachsenenbildung, insbesondere zur Heimvolksschule und zur Deutschen Schule für Volksforschung und Erwachsenenbildung.
