It is controversial whether vocational basic and continuing education is substitutable or complementary. This report approaches the issue from an entrepreneurial perspective with a special focus on company sizes and provides empirical results on the basis of the IAB-Betriebspanel (representative employer survey). The valuations of a bivariate probit model also indicate the dependency of complementary and substitutional correlations on the individual company size.

Lehrkräfte werden in Lehr-Lernsituationen oft mit Ambiguitäten und Ambivalenzen konfrontiert. Unter Rückgriff auf Ergebnisse von Studien zu videofallbasiertem Lernen erläutern der Autor und die Autorin, inwiefern Fortbildungen helfen können, mit ambiguen Situationen im Lehr-Lerngeschehen produktiv umzugehen.
Die Autorin untersucht kulturbezogenes Lernen in DaF- und DaZ-Kursen und betont die Bedeutung von Sprache und Diskurs. Dabei hebt sie die Notwendigkeit eines dynamischen Verständnisses von Gesellschaft und Kultur hervor und plädiert für einen offeneren und wertschätzenden Umgang mit Mehrsprachigkeit.
Was die sozial-ökologische Transformation für die Erwachsenenbildung bedeuten kann, erörtert der Autor anhand der Beobachtung eines Bildungsprojekts. Er nimmt dabei eine Transformation des Bildungsprozesses wahr, aber auch der Bildungseinrichtung, der Bildungsakteure und der Teilnehmenden selbst. Diese Veränderungen setzt er in Beziehung zu Aspekten transformativen Lernens.
Milieus und Lebenswelten beeinflussen die Haltung der Menschen zu Bildung und Lernen. Deshalb ist es im Sinne der Teilnehmendenorientierung unerlässlich, so der Autor, sich als professionell pädagogisch Handelnde mit diesen Konzepten auseinanderzusetzen, um die unterschiedlichen Sichtweisen und Erwartungen der Adressatinnen und Adressaten in den Blick nehmen zu können.
Die abschließende Literaturliste des Projekts TAK nennt eine Auswahl aktueller und relevanter Aufsätze und Monographien, die sich mit dem Themenfeld Transparenz und Akzeptanz berufsrelevanter Kompetenzen beschäftigen. Das Spektrum der einzelnen Schwerpunkte reicht vom informellen Lernen über Bildungspässe bis hin zu diskontinuierlichen Erwerbsbiographien.
