Bildungsberatung wird immer stärker in kommunale Bildungsstrategien eingebunden. Dabei ist die Praxis von Bildungsberatung ebenso divers wie die berufliche Herkunft der Beratenden. Wie ihr Selbstverständnis aussieht, welche Gemeinsamkeiten in der Beruflichkeit trotz der Diversität der Beratenden bestehen und inwiefern eine weitergehende Vernetzung der Beratungsakteure sinnvoll ist, zeigt eine Studie der Universität Duisburg-Essen zur Bildungsregion Duisburg.

The article focuses on guidance in adult education as a type of institutional talk. Multiple data sources were collected through a comparative case study of two providers to examine how the institutional contexts influenced the guidance. Der ProfilPASS für junge Menschen wird zunehmend in der Beratung von geflüchteten Jugendlichen eingesetzt. Das Wörterbuch „Beratung mit dem ProfilPASS für junge Menschen. 50 wichtige Wörter“ ergänzt das Beratungsangebot für diese Zielgruppe. In diesem Wörterbuch werden die wichtigsten Begriffe aus dem ProfilPASS in leichter Sprache und mittels Illustrationen erklärt. In der Arbeit mit dem Buch können die Jugendlichen somit zugleich ihre deutschen Sprachkenntnisse verbessern.
