Die Einzelveröffentlichungen des DIE vermitteln den aktuellen Kenntnisstand zu einem spezifischen Themenfeld der Weiterbildung. Die Bände sind meist als Reader konzipiert und dokumentieren Ergebnisse aus DIE-Projekten oder von Fachtagungen. Die DIE-Einzelveröffentlichungen richten sich an Vetreter/innen aus Wissenschaft, Praxis und Bildungspolitik.
Diese Ausgabe des REPORT widmet sich unterschiedlichsten Fragen zur Zukunft von Weiterbildung im kommenden Jahrhundert. Die Beiträge behandeln u. a. Themen wie Medien und ihre zukünftige Bildungsfunktion, Bildungspolitik im nächsten Jahrhundert, Bedeutung von Weiterbildung für die Unternehmensentwicklung.
The DIE Journal on Adult Education (DIE Zeitschrift für Erwachsenenbildung) was renamed "weiter bilden" in 2018. The quarterly DIE Journal focuses on a specific topic to inform about current developments in adult education. It is mostly directed at full-time employees and planners in continuing education as well as authorities in education policy and administration. It is scientifically sound as well as practice oriented - magazine as well as reflection instrument.
This report provides an overview of the standards between professional and organisational logic for adult education – from the perspective of funding and continuing educational organisations, education policy and research. It also summarises various strategies for improving teaching and training, and identifies outstanding questions. It also points out the role of teaching as a construct, which largely depends on the viewer’s perspective.
