Various needs and requirements need to be taken into account for developing urban educational spaces. At the same time, the demand for cooperation between educational and cultural institutions creates obvious and concealed competition between educational and cultural planners. Based on a scientific project support, this article provides guidance on the causes and handling of potential competition.
Im Zeitraum von Mai 2012 bis Januar 2013 hat das Deutsche Institut für Erwachsenenbildung – Leibniz-Zentrum für Lebenslanges Lernen e.V. die regionalen Weiterbildungsverbünde (WBV) in Schleswig-Holstein evaluiert. Die Evaluierung erfolgte im Auftrag des Ministeriums für Wirtschaft, Arbeit, Verkehr und Technologie des Landes Schleswig-Holstein.
In den bildungspolitischen Diskursen um gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen wie den demographischen Wandel, die Forderung nach lebenslangem Lernen für alle und dem Ruf der Wirtschaft nach Förderung von Schlüsselkompetenzen wird die kulturelle Erwachsenenbildung kaum berücksichtigt. Betrachtet man allerdings diese Herausforderungen wird deutlich, dass heute eine Orientierung der Förderung von Erwachsenenbildung auf arbeitsmarktbezogene Aspekte zu kurz greift.
