Aufgabe und Ziel des Internet-Service ESPRID waren der Aufbau und die Bereitstellung einer Informations- und Kommunikationsplattform im Internet für professionell in der Erwachsenbildung Tätige. Hierbei sollten drei Funktionen erfüllt werden: Exploration, Evaluation und Pilotierung eines solchen Services.
