Parent and child programmes are the most frequently offered programmes in family education. The intergenerational experiment of education and lifelong learning has proven its worth in adult and family education and may be regarded as a counter weight to the »expertisation« during the early childhood.
The study text provides an introduction to the topic migration and further education with particular attention to the different educational needs of adults with a migrant background. The article reveals the effects of GRUNDTVIG learning partnerships between 2008 and 2012 and points out the most significant contents. The project’s future remains uncertain despite the increasing number of applications for GRUNDTVIG learning partnership. A continuation within »Erasmus for all« or »YES EUROPE« is possible.

Cultural education is a generally accepted objective in the field of cultural policy. By using a historical outline, the author illustrates this attribution to a lack of visions in cultural policies.
