Analysing the Course of Processes in Counselling – A Desideratum Reasoning and Development of a Research Design Different processes of counselling have been a non-studied field of research in adult education so far. It is necessary for the professionalization of counselling to close this research gap by an empirical basic work, because the need for counselling is increasing. A research design is explained by this article. The methodological outline will be developed and reasoned.
In Germany, participation in continuing education has been on a respectable level since 2012. In 2016, 50 per cent of all adults were active in continuing education and training. Based on these findings, the Adult Education Survey (AES) 2016 provides numerous detailed results, which are presented in the final evaluation report. Biography and Education Biographical aspects are coming increasingly under the focus of teaching-learning and educational research in the context of international comparative studies and the debate over self-organised and self-guided learning.
