In seinen Lebenserinnerungen hält der 1869 in Buchholz geborene Dr. Anton Heinen 1932–1934 kritisch Rückschau vor allem auf seine Berufsbiografie im katholischen Bildungssystem von 1893 bis 1918 und auf dessen Institutionen.
