This article examines learning at the university, which is located in the institutional context of the university with its structural conditions. The analysis of learning at universities opens research perspectives, to which the adult education science can deliver substantial contributions.
Rohrer diskutiert kritisch, dass sich Erwachsenenbildung mit der Diskussion um selbstgesteuertes Lernen zu sehr mit „den verlorenen Söhnen“ beschäftigt, die keine institutionellen Lernangeboten nutzen. Er benennt Gefahren, die ein solcher Fokus birgt, wenn er zu einer ausschließlich bestimmenden Tendenz wird.
The author is a freelance teacher, coach and adviser in the field of further education. In her article she reports the experiences she made with the financing of her independent business activities. Referring to the four marketing items “product – placing – promotion – price” she describes the essential skills and strategies necessary to establish successfully with a freelance job in adult education.
