In ihrem Beitrag reflektiert die Autorin nicht nur die begrifflichen Grundlagen und die Verflochtenheit der Nachhaltigkeitsdebatte. Indem sie argumentiert, Erwachsenenbildung müsse als Nachhaltigkeit verstanden werden, schärft sie das erwachsenenpädagogische Profil des Nachhaltigkeitsbegriffs und stellt gleichzeitig dessen normative Grundlagen zur Debatte.
Vor welchen Herausforderungen steht politische Bildung heute? Wie kann sie Menschen dabei unterstützen, vom politischen Objekt zum handelnden Subjekt zu werden und an gesellschaftspolitischen Debatten teilzuhaben? The article focuses on guidance in adult education as a type of institutional talk. Multiple data sources were collected through a comparative case study of two providers to examine how the institutional contexts influenced the guidance. On the one hand the providers define the subjects of their guidance service and their selection of consultants is based on the content knowledge.
