The historiography of adult education has painted an almost entirely optimistic picture of enlightenment until today. The actors are defined as people who are willing to learn and capable of being educated. Thanks to the advances in the enlightenment process they mature into responsible citizens. Sources based on individual history, like the ones presented in the “Magazin zur Erfahrungsseelenkunde” (1783-1793), are not taken into consideration. In his role as editor of the periodical magazine, …
The European Qualification Framework and the National Qualification Framework of Germany are two offer-specific reference instruments, which should be implemented in the German educational and employment systems. Lebensweltorientierung von Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung bedeutet auch, sich der Unterschiede der Lebenswelten von Lernenden und Lehrenden gewahr zu werden. The author covers definitions and dissemination of »Open Educational Resources (OER)« marked by Web 2.0, particularly issues of copyright and licensing law as well as the problems of financing free material. At the same time, the potential adult education surplus value of OER is pointed out and the prerequisites of high-quality learning and teaching processes are discussed. The article concludes with an agenda for teachers aimed at the sustainability of the OER.

Their own teaching/learning situation serves as illustrative material. It is self-evident that this method relies on mutuality and must be voluntary. The method, which is explained with the aid of a practice example from the KVHS Northeim, has its origins in health care.

Auf diese Weise können Kompetenzen und Ressourcen gebündelt werden, um komplexe Aufgaben zu bewältigen, mit denen die einzelnen Einrichtungen überfordert wären.
