In zehn Thesen lotet der Autor das Verhältnis von Wissenschaft und Praxis der Erwachsenenbildung aus. Beide Bereiche sind an vielen Stellen eng miteinander verwoben, ihr Verhältnis aber ist komplex und nicht friktionsfrei.
