Decision behaviour in further education, impact on pedagogical consulting competence The author shows, that against the background of accruing research on adult education consultation the relevance of emotions for the decision behaviour of adults is drawn closer into the focus. For this she introduces first partial results of a running research project.
Self-controlling of learning processes – a basic approach of an empirical substanciation In the first part of the contribution a heuristic systematization of the construct of the self-controlling is carried out. Then selected parts of the results of this theme are presented, taken from a representative questioning of the population concerning adult education behaviour and attitudes towards adult education.

Hedonism and body cult have to be considered as social phenomena. They are an expression of the individualisaton of health behaviour and of the search for wellness. Wellness is connected with sensuality and enjoyment in many people’s minds. Health consciousness is influenced by individual experience. Health learning can incorporate wellness and the experiential dimension in a productive way.
