Hängen Impfbereitschaft und Weiterbildung zusammen? Anhand von Daten aus der Volkshochschulstatistik und dem Adult Education Survey im Zusammenspiel mit den jeweiligen Impfquoten entwickeln die Autoren Aussagen und Hypothesen zum Zusammenhang von Weiterbildung, Gesundheitsbildung und Impfbereitschaft.
Implementing network type structures has become a widely appreciated strategy to promote actor-relationships in the field of adult and community education and to coordinate them purposefully. However, there is still a lack of knowledge on how a “successful” coordination of actor-relationships can be practically achieved. This paper offers some clues to answering the question by outlining basic characteristics of social networks and then giving reference to a recent case study from Germany.
The article provides an insight into supranational and international continuing education monitoring. The author identifies three particularly relevant tools for adult learning: the Adult Education Survey conducted by the EU, the OECD Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) and the European Lifelong Learning Index.
