Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Vielfalt an ausstellungsbegleitenden Vermittlungsangeboten für Erwachsene in Museen. Diese wurden programmanalytisch untersucht mit dem Ziel einer Ausdifferenzierung von (Partizipations-)Portalen, die für die Teilnehmenden einen Zugang zu kultureller Bildung im Museum eröffnen. Work-based training is a significant competence development tool for adult educators. The article presents study findings, which were recently developed based on a need and demand perspective. (1) Based on the data base QUA LIDAT , programmes are systematised. (2) The behaviour in continuing education of e.g teachers was surveyed in Niedersachsen.
Using the crisis-ridden Afghanistan as an example the authors show the importance of adult und continuing education for the positive development of a conflict region. By strengthening the employability of young people in transition from school to university or professional life it helps preventing frustration, aggression and violence – and thus also the emergence of new conflicts.
