Es gibt in Deutschland bisher nur wenige und verstreute Daten, die das System der Weiterbildung aus der Perspektive der Anbieter beschreiben. Der Verbund Weiterbildungsstatistik unter Koordination des Deutschen Instituts für Erwachsenenbildung (DIE) tritt in diese Lücke und legt eine jährliche Statistik der angeschlossenen Einrichtungen und ihres Angebots vor.
