Digitale Weiterbildungsformate werden für in der Weiterbildung unterrepräsentierte Zielgruppen kontrovers diskutiert. In der Corona-Pandemie jedoch haben Weiterbildungsanbieter auch für diese besonderen Zielgruppen auf digitale Weiterbildungsformate umgestellt. Die gesammelten Erfahrungen und daraus resultierenden Strategien der beruflichen Weiterbildungsanbieter sowie Chancen und Risiken nahm das Projekt FORWARD in den Blick.
Welche Möglichkeiten bietet die Kompetenzorientierung im Bereich Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung? Wie weit ist die Kompetenzorientierung in den verschiedenen Grundbildungsbereichen fortgeschritten? Entlang des aktuellen Stands der Umsetzung in exemplarischen Inhaltsbereichen werden die Potenziale und Herausforderungen einer Orientierung an Lernergebnissen diskutiert.
Die großen Fortschritte in der Computertechnik vereinfachen nicht nur das Sammeln und Verarbeiten großer Datenmengen, sie ermöglichen auch neue Lehr-/Lernformen in der Bildung. Vor allem in der industriellen Aus- und Weiterbildung kann das Training mit Augmented-Reality-Technologie und Wearables große Vorteile bringen. Der Autor zeigt Anwendungsbeispiele solcher Technologien auf, die aus dem WEKIT-Forschungsprojekt stammen.
Older people often lack the competences for the handling of digital media. This is problematic in a society which is more and more based on digital exchanges. Courses of continuing digital education for older people prove to be successful when they are embedded into their living environments. In this article, the author presents several of these educational formats.
Works councils handle many conflicts. This article pursues the issue how works councils acquire knowledge and competences for dealing with various conflict settings and the significance of programmes in educational institutions for work councils. To pursue the question, the author connects her research findings on learning in work conflicts to the development in practical institutional education for works councils.
The paper examines the extent to which the principles of biomedical ethics can be used for an ethics of pedagogy. First, the principles of biomedical ethics are presented. Second, attention is drawn to similarities in terms of the epistemological status and challenges in medicine and in education. Possible links between principles of biomedical ethics and an ethics of pedagogy are examined.
Over the past few years, various institutional forms of learning centres have been developed. Of these, the “one-stop shop” is the most relevant to the form of cooperation. Here, information, education and advice are all provided at one spot. Management models, structures and the effects of cooperation are elaborated based on this form of cooperation.
