Sprache ist ein zentrales Medium von Kultur und Kommunikation. Bildung lehrt Sprache(n) und verwendet Sprache(n). Im Diskurs über Bildung und Spracherwerb, zumal unter den Vorzeichen des Literacy-Begriffs, dominiert ein schriftkultureller Fokus. Hier setzen wir bewusst einen anderen Schwerpunkt und nehmen das gesprochene (und gehörte) Wort in den Blick. Teaching and learning situations are only super ficially described as transfer of knowledge. Beneath that surface complex processes of understanding influence the teacher-learner as well as the learner-learner interaction.
