Digitale Weiterbildungsformate werden für in der Weiterbildung unterrepräsentierte Zielgruppen kontrovers diskutiert. In der Corona-Pandemie jedoch haben Weiterbildungsanbieter auch für diese besonderen Zielgruppen auf digitale Weiterbildungsformate umgestellt. Die gesammelten Erfahrungen und daraus resultierenden Strategien der beruflichen Weiterbildungsanbieter sowie Chancen und Risiken nahm das Projekt FORWARD in den Blick.
Welche Möglichkeiten bietet die Kompetenzorientierung im Bereich Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung? Wie weit ist die Kompetenzorientierung in den verschiedenen Grundbildungsbereichen fortgeschritten? Entlang des aktuellen Stands der Umsetzung in exemplarischen Inhaltsbereichen werden die Potenziale und Herausforderungen einer Orientierung an Lernergebnissen diskutiert.
Die großen Fortschritte in der Computertechnik vereinfachen nicht nur das Sammeln und Verarbeiten großer Datenmengen, sie ermöglichen auch neue Lehr-/Lernformen in der Bildung. Vor allem in der industriellen Aus- und Weiterbildung kann das Training mit Augmented-Reality-Technologie und Wearables große Vorteile bringen. Der Autor zeigt Anwendungsbeispiele solcher Technologien auf, die aus dem WEKIT-Forschungsprojekt stammen.

Various needs and requirements need to be taken into account for developing urban educational spaces. At the same time, the demand for cooperation between educational and cultural institutions creates obvious and concealed competition between educational and cultural planners. Based on a scientific project support, this article provides guidance on the causes and handling of potential competition.
The article discusses the chances of using a gerontological data base (Interdisciplinary Longitudinal Study of Adulthood, German Acronym: ILSE) for analyses in educational biography research: Learning to age tends to be the central category of this analyses. Common staff qualification concepts hardly ever pay attention to the needs of disabled people. Qualification measures for sensorically handicapped employees must, however, yield a surplus. Above and beyond the teaching of professional know-how, problems have to be addressed which derive from the handicap and affect day-to-day work. The article gives information about a further education concept for people with hearing disabilities and about the chances and difficulties in its implementation.
The EQUAL development cooperation project »Virtual Centre of European Education« is an example of how on the part of the European Union discrimination on the labour market is to be combated.
