Die Vielzahl der Qualitäts- und Evaluationsberichte ist kaum noch zu überblicken. Der Gehalt dieser Berichte ist unterschiedlich. Der REPORT 43 bemüht sich um eine Zwischenbilanz der Qualitätsdiskussion, insbesondere der (erwachsenen-)pädagogischen. Die Beiträge zeigen, dass Qualität von Bildungsarbeit "relational" zu denken, d. h. dass Qualität situations-, zielgruppen-, kontext- und beobachtungsabhängig ist.
Die Einführung gestufter Studiengänge erhitzt seit geraumer Zeit die Gemüter an den Hochschulen. Nicht alles, was dort zur Debatte steht, muss die Erwachsenenbildung interessieren.
