Kann Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) transformative Bildungsprozesse unterstützen? Der Beitrag zeigt am Beispiel der Plattform Next Step Culture, dass dies möglich ist, und zwar, indem KI-Systeme Lernenden ermöglichen, ihre eigenen Habitusstrukturen, Bedeutungsrahmen und Weltbeziehungen kritisch zu reflektieren. Hierfür knüpft der Beitrag an Theorien von Mezirow, Koller und Rosa an sowie an Überlegungen zu safe enough spaces von Singer-Brodowski u. a.
The author comments on his essay’s title which should refer to a „human being“ rather than to a „migrant“. With examples drawn from literature, theatre and real life he underpins his theory of an increasing malfunction of language as a means of communication. Finally, he reflects on cultural identity and a (German) concept of integration into a target culture.

Abstract: The paper describes trends of convergence and divergence in enterprise-provided continuing vocational training in Europe between 1999 and 2005. Based on the survey CVTS, the indicators for courses incidence, access, intensity, direct costs and the indicator learning at the workplace will be analyzed. The paper concludes with an outlook with references to sketches of an educational theory to be written for this field of adult education.
