The article presents the results of the author’s study on the views of pedagogy students on politics and education. The research has been undertaken subsequently to the 2015 parliamentary elections won by the party “Prawo i Sprawiedliwosc” (“Law and Justice”, PiS). During the election campaign, this party’s program offered radical changes, also in the Polish educational system. Welche Kompetenzen sind in der Praxis der politischen Bildung relevant? Dies diskutieren die Autorin und der Autor mit Blick auf die Lernenden und die Lehrenden und analysieren dabei aktuelle gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen, die die Kompetenzfrage beeinflussen.
In dem Beitrag werden aktuelle Standpunkte und Projekte zur Qualitätstestierung in der Weiterbildung skizziert und diskutiert. Im Anschluss werden bildungspoltische Trends - zunehmende Ökonomisierung der gesamten Weiterbildung - herausgestellt und allgemeine Schlussfolgerungen - die Vernetzung unterschiedlich ausgerichteter qualitätspolitischer Initiativen - gezogen.
Gibt es »rote Linien« in der (politischen) Erwachsenenbildung, inwiefern sollte es sie geben? Diesen Fragen geht der Autor am Beispiel der Bildungsarbeit »gegen rechts« nach – und zeigt auf, dass es keine einfachen Antworten hierauf gibt.
