The learning movement of a social movement beginning in 1957. 18 German nuclear physicists signed a declaration in 1957 in which they refused to take part in the production, testing and use of nuclear weapons. Vorgestellt werden Entwicklungslinien und Charakteristika der aktuellen Jugendsubkulturen in Deutschland. Anstatt des früher beherrschenden Appell-Verhaltens der Jugendlichen, haben sie heute ein stärkeres Ausdrucksverhalten enwickelt. Bestimmend sind demnach heute, das Prinzip der Bricolage (Levi Strauss), der zerstreute Blick und situationsgebundene Ausdrucksformen.
Ausgehend von einer skeptischen Einschätzung der zukünftigen Entwicklung der Chancengleichheit im Weiterbildungsbereich plädiert der Autor in Anlehnung an einen Gedanken von Friedrich Edding aus dem Jahr 1988, einen Bundesrahmenordnung zur beruflichen Weiterbildung für eine Neuordnung der Lernchancen zu schaffen. Dafür werden die Themenfelder skizziert.
