Das Weiterbildungsgesetz Nordrhein-Westfalen wird in diesem Jahr 50 Jahre alt. Dieses Jubiläum nehmen die Autorin und der Autor zum Anlass, das Gesetz mit einem Rückblick auf Entstehung, Novellierungen und Wirkungen in den vergangenen fünf Jahrzehnten zu würdigen.

The author discusses the influence of the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) on the literacy education field in Canada.
