This article presents results of a national medical impact analysis of relaxation and stress-management courses. The impact on health was examined on 132 persons at 40 adult colleges (VHS) at the beginning and end of courses as well as three months thereafter. A third of all families in Germany have a background of migration, which offers a great educational potential for family education. The author points out the increased risk situation of this heterogeneous group and warns against the misleading label as a »target group of particular circumstances«. She gives best practice examples and pleads for the intercultural opening of educational institutions.
Using the documentary method according to Ralf Bohnsack, it is shown in this essay how memory in communicative processes with senior citizens develops. Amateur photographs were used to discuss with the seniors. The conversations took place in two small groups and were analyzed in comparison. Furthermore, the statements of the interviewees were evaluated and discussed in the light of relevant literature.

Although trainers can be expected to be important for the success further of vocational education, there is no regulation of the qualification of trainers in Germany.
