Management in Nonprofit-Organisationen stellt besondere Anforderungen und fordert spezielle Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten. Die Autorin stellt das Verbandsmanagement Institut (VMI) der Universität Freiburg in der Schweiz vor, das seit 25 Jahren in diesem Segment Forschungsarbeit leistet. Hier wurde das „Freiburger Management-Modell für NPO“ entwickelt.
