The project GRETA – basics for a standardized process for recognizing teachers’ and trainers’ competences in adult and continuing education – developed an interdisciplinary structural competence model encompassing all tasks for teachers and trainers in adult and continuing education. Religion, ethics and adult education Religion and ethics serve as a relevant topic in various contexts of adult education, be it as a challenge for self-reflection or as point of departure in public debate. Scientific adult learning discussions refer to the concept of “region” mainly in policy contexts. Against this background, the author develops an approach to investigate regions from an organizational point of view.
