The DIE Journal on Adult Education (DIE Zeitschrift für Erwachsenenbildung) was renamed "weiter bilden" in 2018. The quarterly DIE Journal focuses on a specific topic to inform about current developments in adult education. It is mostly directed at full-time employees and planners in continuing education as well as authorities in education policy and administration. It is scientifically sound as well as practice oriented - magazine as well as reflection instrument.
Mit PIAAC liegen repräsentative Daten zu den Kompetenzen der 16- bis 65-Jährigen vor. In this article, fundamental considerations are presented which describe learning not only on a cognitive level but which also outline the neurophysiological conditions of learning (the nervous system as a neural net, processes of neural coupling, neuronal preconditions of the brain, body perception and movement as praxis). Besides, the question is broached whether in pedagogy a focussing on the “neurophysiology of learning” is possible or useful for general pedagogy and andragogy.
The support of food and move literacy in learning groups mainly aims for a benefit in terms of a health-promoting and sustainable lifestyle.
