Sustainable learning Insights into a panel study under the category “emotionality in learning processes" After clarification of the term "sustainable learning", it is discussed by means of empirical material of a present research project to what extent emotional factors play a role in sustainable learning.

The research project KLASSIK examines the question of whether it is possible to increase competencies for information processing skills of older people. Looking at consultancy for European project work, the article reveals the common obstacles and success factors for cooperative ventures between adult education institutions as part of EU funding programmes. The author recommends paying particular attention to all the parties' interests to ensure there is joint ownership.

This report provides descriptions and comparative analysis of policy, practice, and access and engagement in these countries. It makes conclusions and recommendations that can inform future work in adult financial literacy in Germany.
This report deals with the significance of the competence model for requirements of daily money management, which was developed in the project "CurVe". It particularly stresses the programme development in the field of financial literacy. In conclusion, the challenges of establishing financial literacy as part of the programme literacy and basic education are outlined.
Decision behaviour in further education, impact on pedagogical consulting competence The author shows, that against the background of accruing research on adult education consultation the relevance of emotions for the decision behaviour of adults is drawn closer into the focus. This article presents results of a field study exploring why illiterates start relearning reading and writing at a later age. The project SYLBE focused on reasons and obstacles of participants in basic education classes. The study provides a typology of motivations for learning and thus supports the professional acting of teaching staff in basic education.
