Die konstruktivistische Erkenntnis, dass der "lernende Erwachsene" ein Konstrukt bleiben muss, die Tatsache, dass empirisches Wissen über Teilnahme und Nicht-Teilnahme an Weiterbildung zu gering ist und viele Aspekte mehr rücken die Teilnehmenden in das Zentrum des Interesses. Diese Ausgabe der Zeitschrift REPORT greift das Thema aus der Perspektive wissenschaftlicher Zugänge auf und nimmt gleichzeitig Empirie und Theorie in den Blick.
The United Kingdom and Ireland offer examples of national strategies, programmes and projects including services for promoting financial literacy. This report provides descriptions and comparative analysis of policy, practice, and access and engagement in these countries. It makes conclusions and recommendations that can inform future work in adult financial literacy in Germany.
The article is based on the assumption that there is a dialectical correlation between biography and society. The authors develop an analytical category to better conceptually capture the influence of education policy frameworks through individuals’ professional performance. The main focus will be on the life stories of two figures which are pivotal for the development of the Hessian or even German history of adult education: Walter Korn and Rudi Rohlmann.
