Eine ganzheitliche Herangehensweise soll den Teilnehmenden schnell einen praxisorientierten Nutzen garantieren und gleichzeitig eine Erfolgskontrolle ermöglichen. When crediting non-university previous achievements in higher education courses, the term “professional competence” is often used. Why do senior citizens stop taking part in continuing education? The author tries to find and explain reasons, drawing on a survey regarding courses of scientific continuing education of Ulm University. One key finding is that the biggest impediments are a lack of time and other obligations.
Using the crisis-ridden Afghanistan as an example the authors show the importance of adult und continuing education for the positive development of a conflict region. By strengthening the employability of young people in transition from school to university or professional life it helps preventing frustration, aggression and violence – and thus also the emergence of new conflicts.
The first generation of people with professorships started work in the 1970s.They were scientifically exploring and at the same time working practically aligned. Their educational scientific basic approach to work was taken up by the succeeding generations of scientists, developed further and extended by new topics. The futher alteration of generations lets us await a prosperous development of the panel that is open towards the future.
Eine Literaturliste zum Thema Erwachsenenbildung/Weiterbildung.
Durch verschiedene Faktoren kam es in Österreich zu einer Universitätsausdehnung. Die Wiener Universität hatte eine Vorbildfunktion für diese Ausdehnung und ergriff auch die Initiative zur Einrichtung des Deutschen Volkshochschultages. Eine tragende Rolle spielte zudem Ludo Moritz Hartmann.
