Welche Rolle spielen Lernen und Kompetenzentwicklung im Entwicklungsdienst? Der Autor, Verfasser einer aktuellen Studie zu diesem Thema, plädiert für einen Lernzyklus, der sowohl Vor- und Nachbereitung des Auslandsaufenthalts beinhaltet als auch stetiges learning on the job professionell unterstützt.
Die Dokumentation der im Rahmen des Projekts „Netzwerk Grundqualifikationen“ durchgeführten Zukunftswerkstatt beschreibt die einzelnen Phasen und Arbeitsschritte sowie neu entwickelte Projektideen. Zu folgenden Themenkomplexen wurde gearbeitet: Inhalte/Methoden/Konzepte, Strukturen/Gesellschaft und Kooperation/Vernetzung. Außerdem sind eine Zeittafel zu Alphabetisierung und Grundbildung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und ein Beitrag zur Methode der Zukunftswerkstatt enthalten.
