In dieser Reihe wurden Beispiele angewandter Forschung vorgestellt. Dabei handelte es sich in erster Linie um Begleitforschung zu Entwicklungsversuchen im Rahmen von Projekten. Daß neben den Ergebnissen auch die Untersuchungsmethoden diskutiert werden, gehört zu den Besonderheiten der Reihe, die 1996 von den "DIE Analysen für Erwachsenenbildung" abgelöst wurde.
Der REPORT berichtet über Frauenbildung und Frauenarbeit aus zwei Perspektiven. Die Texte beleuchten die Inhalte von Erwachsenenbildung, die für Frauen gedacht sind, und sie berichten aus der Perspektive der Frauen, die in der Erwachsenenbildung beschäftigt sind.
In verschiedenen Beiträgen wird die Vielschichtigkeit der Perspektiven zur Bildung Älterer diskutiert.
Unter dem Gesichtspunkt des Älterwerdens lauten die zentralen Fragen in diesen Beiträgen: Wie findet die Transformation von Wissenschaft in die Berufswelt statt, welche Probleme treten auf und wie kann gemeinsam reflektiert werden?
Das Handeln und Entscheiden von Praktiker/innen/n der Erwachsenenbildung kann (und muss) nicht nur im Blick auf die Qualität ihrer Dienstleistungen, sondern auch unter ethischen Gesichtspunkten betrachtet werden. The article focuses on guidance in adult education as a type of institutional talk. Multiple data sources were collected through a comparative case study of two providers to examine how the institutional contexts influenced the guidance. The report includes a slightly revised version of a lecture held during the opening ceremony of the German Continuing Education Day in Berlin in 2012. The author focuses on the day’s central idea: surplus value of continuing education and pleads for the use of the benefit concept, which includes the individual’s perspective, as well as the concept of profit with regard to the social and organizational perspective.
