Nachgezeichnet werden die Potentiale der Konstruktivismus-Debatte für die (Erwachsenen) Pädagogik in den zwei Spannungsfeldern: Erkenntnis und Handeln und innerer und äusserer Systematik im Erwachsenenlernen.
Das Potenzial von OER in der Bildung ist – vor allem in der Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung – noch nicht ausgeschöpft. Das liege auch an bestehenden Unsicherheiten und Herausforderungen für rechtssicheres Handeln, legt die Autorin dar – und zeigt auf, wie diese überwunden werden können.
Lebensweltorientierung von Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung bedeutet auch, sich der Unterschiede der Lebenswelten von Lernenden und Lehrenden gewahr zu werden. Die reflektierte Auseinandersetzung mit dieser Unterschiedlichkeit ist pädagogisch voraussetzungsreich, dennoch aber, so der Autor, ein notwendiger Schritt einer weitergehenden Professionalisierung in der Erwachsenen- und Weiterbildung.
