Die Pädagogische Arbeitsstelle des Deutschen Volkshochschul-Verbandes (PAS/DVV) wurde Ende 1957 gegründet. Hauptaufgabe war die systematische Aus- und Weiterbildung der Mitarbeiter der Volkshochschulen. Sie veranstalteten „Einführungsveranstaltungen“, die auch „Falkenstein-Seminare“ genannt wurden.
