In der Weiterbildungswissenschaft hat sich eine Hinwendung zur empirischen Forschung vollzogen. Dadurch werden immer wieder neue und neuartige Fragestellungen an die Empirie herangetragen. In allen Beiträgen werden forschungsmethodische Aspekte im Hinblick auf weiterbildungswissenschaftliche Fragestellungen thematisiert.
