Mechthild Tillmann ist seit 2000 Leiterin der Rhein-Sieg-Volkshochschule. Neun Städte und Gemeinden des rechtsrheinischen Rhein-Sieg-Kreises haben sich im Volkshochschulzweckverband Rhein-Sieg zusammengeschlossen. Seit ihrem Amtsantritt hat sie innovative Lösungen der Finanzierung erreicht.
